The Canon PIXMA TS8120 printer model supports black and color printing while also being suitable for copying and scanning. The Canon PIXMA TS8120 contains an internal driver that supports diverse OS versions as well as duplex printing. In terms of the printer rate, black documents run at the speed of 15 images per minute (ipm), and however, color documents run at the rate of 10.0 ipm under ideal conditions. In the printer system, the machine contains 6656 nozzles for both color and pigment black printing.

Specifications
The optimum print resolution from this machine is 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). It also supports the PGI-280 pigment black in and CLI-281 dye-based inks. The options include legal, letter, envelopes, and photo paper sizes incompatible paper sizes. However, the standard paper types are:
- Canon high-resolution paper.
- Super high glossy, photo paper pro platinum.
- Photo paper plus glossy II.
The notable printer features include Google Cloud Print, PhotoPrint+, Message in Print, Mobile device printing, and Mopria device printing. Other features include my image garden, Photo direct printing through memory cards, photo printing, and PIXMA Cloud Link.
Meanwhile, the copying features include multiple page copy, auto exposure copy, borderless copy, disc label copy, and document removal reminder. Others have a fit-to-page, frame erase copy, ID card copy, photo fade restoration, preset copy ratios, standard copy, and two-sided copy. Scanning with the machine runs with a contact image sensor (CIS) element through a flatbed component. And it produces an optical resolution that is up to 2400 x 4800 dpi.
