The Canon ImageCLASS LBP312x printer model works with the monochrome laser beam print technology for optimum performance of duty. Also, the rate of printing with the device is 43 pages per minute (ppm) when printing on an A4 paper. At the same time, the minimum print resolution is 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi). But with the use of an image refinement technology, the print quality resolution can reach 1200 x 1200 dpi.

However, the maximum print resolution is 2400 x 600 dpi. Furthermore, the warm-up time for the machine from the power ON mode is about 30 seconds or even less. Canon ImageCLASS LBP312x model also has an automatic duplex component for standard printing on both sides of the paper page. Similarly, it supports the use of A4, legal, letter, foolscap, ad Indian legal standard. However, this parameter relates to a paperweight range between 60 and 120 gsm. For paper handling, the standard input capacity is up to 550 sheets of plain paper. However, an extra paper supply through the multipurpose tray is 100 sheets of paper.
The maximum paper capacity of the paper trays is 2300 sheets, while the output tray holds 250 sheets of paper.
